Eating Disorders Peer Support Group lead facilitator, Horsham Group
We are looking to recruit a lead facilitator for our peer support group in Horsham. The main purpose for the groups is to provide those who attend a space to meet with other sufferers to share their experiences and coping strategies. Our group aim is to ease isolation by offering inclusion to those who attend.
What the group will offer:
- A safe and welcoming environment where sufferers can share and discuss their experiences.
- Monthly meetings with other sufferers to offer and receive peer support.
- Information and advice on eating disorders to enable better understanding of symptoms.
- Gateways to treatment (e.g. West Sussex Eating Disorders Service, information on self-help counselling, other therapies and support groups).
Brief Outline of Post: Delivery of one monthly group sessions, providing a space for those living with eating disorders to meet with others to share their experiences and coping strategies. Our group aim is to ease isolation by offering inclusion to those who attend.

Responsible to: Male Voiced, trustees and Service Manager As You Are Centre
Salary: £20/hour of freelance work: 2 hours per month (1 and half hours delivery time and 30 minutes contact and admin and communication time).
