14 JunShame Workshop on Saturday 9th September
We have had lots of requests for training and I’m very happy to be able to put the first date out for you. Its the second time we’ve run this workshop and we had great feedback from the last one. So its back by popular demand.
The workshop will run at the centre: As You Are, The Corner House, 45 Southwick Street, BN42 4TH
Saturday 9th September, 10am until 4pm.
Facilitator: Ingela Jackson
This is an experiential workshop, which will draw on our universal experience of shame. During the course of the day we will look at how shame affects our bodies, self identity and relationships. We will explore how to recognize a shamed client, and how to work with them, as well as considering the implications of adaptive and maladaptive shame.
Tea and coffee and biscuits will be provided but please bring your own lunch.
Cost and How to book on to the workshop:
Its £20 to the AYA team and £45 for non AYA. There is a sign up sheet in the office to register your attendance and interest.
